@Jason7745 there was an xbox version released, it even had a few extras the ps2 didn’t have (to make up for the delay…and the fact thats it’s the only mgs on xbox)
Yeah man this is stupid about the console wars xbox 360 and ps3 are both awesome consoles with great exclusives i also own both and play basically the same amount of time with one as i do with the other

Xbox got Substance first, not MGS2. Different versions. I’d prefer it on PS2 anyway though.
I’d like to see Metal Gear on the Wii. It wouldn’t have to be part of the main story, but I’d like to see what Kojima can do on the Wii. Or the DS.

And just to be fair, I’ll criticise you too. You obviously didn’t get the message Metal Gear is trying to promote if your response to that is to stroke off America’s military prowess and talk about erroneous, overly simplistic concepts such as the “defending of freedom”.
fans complained that it wasnt “right” that substance was released on xbox soon after. so konami released it for ps2 as well with the document of mgs2.
and dont get me wrong (not a fanboy comment), mgs2 wasnt suited well for xbox. the controls just didnt suit the xbox controller (some moves, like jump shooting are difficult to perform on the xbox).
this is the reason why exclusive games arent suited for porting onto another console (i.e Halo on ps3 or mgs4 on xbox? it just doesnt work)

What? I played this game first on the Playstation 2 and never knew Xbox had this game exclusively for the Xbox. Well since this game series was a Playstation title smash they had to also have this game on the Playstation 2. I mastered this game on both the Playstation 2 and Xbox beating all VR Missions and getting 100% in BOTH! =D
